This mixed six pack from the private cellar of winemaker
Andy Kalleske not only bears his name but a 175 year legacy in the Barossa Valley.
Available for a limited time.
This is a wine to cellar for upwards of ten years - if you can wait that long!
Eddies Old Vine Shiraz is a real master of its domain. This wine is as concentrated and complex as the vines are ancient.
The wines are made with minimal intervention – open, small-batch fermentation, hand plunging and pumping, oak maturation and minimal filtering. This ensures that the wine is at its absolute best once it is bottled and released for our customers to enjoy.
Master craftsmen with years of winemaking expertise make sure only the best barrels of wine, from already tiny, hand-picked parcels, make it into a bottle under the Atze’s Corner label.
The peppery spice, the vanilla of oak, the dark fruits, and liquorice of the aroma flow through to the palate and wrap the rich tannins in a layer of flavour.
A step up from the 2015 vintage, this rich and smooth Shiraz comes from some of the most sought after vineyards in the Barossa Valley.
There’s a real exuberance to this wine. An energy of Grenache raspberry fruit, the plum Shiraz and liquorice Mataro hints. Grenache is the star here, and gee it’s a convincing wine.
The vivid crimson colour that welcomes you to this Shiraz betrays its concentration and ripeness. Elegant and extremely classy French oak aromas greet your nose, along with sweet spices, cinnamon and cedar.
Durif red wine grape is one of Australia’s undiscovered gems. We suspect that people in the know keep quiet about it so as not to arouse too much competition for what is, after all, a scarce bottle of wine.
The core of this magnificent wine comes from three Old Vine vineyards planted by the Eddies family in 1912, 1951 and 1975. Served and loved at high end restaurants like Rockpool, Charcoal Grill on the Hill and Choi’s.
Love it!
If you really want to treat yourself to an 'experience', go and purchase a bottle of "Eddies Old Vine". Decant it, leave it for an hour and then selfishly indulge yourself or share it with your very best friend (or wife as I do) and savour the smooth, fruity, rich wine with chocolates and berries and balanced tannins! The only thing that will disappoint will be watching the last drop fall into your glass!
Darren Head - Mornington
Brilliant bottle of wine.
This wine is outstanding value. It is drinking well now and will improve with cellaring. Buy a case of this wine as it will not disappoint..
Andrew Cooksley - Brisbane
I have always enjoyed GSM and this blend from Atzes Corner has reinforced my enjoyment of this composition even more. I tried the wine over 3 nights with a variety of cuisines and it matched well with them all. Andy has struck the perfect balance between the three varieties here and delivered enough fruit flavours balanced with some delightful savoury notes to satisfy even the most fussy of palates. Well done and I look forward to many more vintages from Atzes Corner.

Being a small, independent winemaker may come with many challenges and responsibilities, none greater than everyone knowing who the person behind the label is. Simply put, if our wine isn't up to the high standards of quality that we've demanded of ourselves for generations in my family, I won't bottle and label it, let alone try and serve it to you. So with that in mind, I welcome you to enjoy six of our all time bests.
I personally guarantee every wine with my name on it, or your money back and you can keep the wine.
