This is a fruit-driven Barossa Valley Shiraz 2016 with all the ripe black fruit flavours we’ve come to expect from the Barossa Valley favourite. As with all Atze’s wines, this Barossa Shiraz Estate has been made using the traditional artisan approach - destemmed without crushing, delicately moved to the fermenter to keep the grapes intact, hand pumped over and basket pressed to create a pure and expressive Barossa Shiraz Estate wine.
The peppery spice, the vanilla of oak, the dark fruits and liquorice of the aroma flow through to the palate and wrap the rich tannins in a layer of flavour. You’re left with a lingering finish of cacao and the hope that there’s another glass available.
This Barossa Valley Shiraz is not to be missed!
A classic smooth Cabernet Sauvignon from a quintessential Barossa Valley Cabernet vintage. It is approachable on opening, and its compelling aromas of juniper, black pepper and mint along with flavours of dark chocolate, plum and blackcurrant will have you coming back for more.
It’s a delicious, softer, riper style of Cabernet Sauvignon Wine, which makes it a perfect fit for those who also love a rounder fuller style.
Located in the iconic sub region of Ebenezer this is from one of the Barossa Valley’s most prized grape growing patches of dirt. The ancient soils in this area restrict the vines growth and give us a wine high in intensity and concentration.
This Barossa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a wine to be experienced.
Shiraz often steals the local limelight, but the insightful vignerons of the Barossa Valley know that the careful blending of this with Mourvedre and Grenache, results in something better than the sum of their parts.
This GSM wine (Grenache Shiraz Mourvedre) is vibrantly purple, betraying the presence of that deeply-coloured, muscular Mourvedre building on the colour of the Grenache and Shiraz. On the bouquet of this Australian Grenache red wine, you can enjoy the sweet compote notes of blackcurrants and raspberries. It’s a complex, fascinating bouquet, which keeps you going back for more. GSM’s palate is precise and bright, with layered, elegant tannins supporting plush ripe dark berries and sweet red cherries. The fresh acidity which is retained in the wine adds an extra element of freshness and vibrancy lingering on the palate.
The Barossa Valley, quite rightly, trumpets its Shiraz wines to the
world and generally leaves other regions to make the noise about
Cabernet Sauvignon. Is this about to change I wonder?
Rare Black Cabernet Sauvignon is certainly raising the flag for
Barossa Cabernet. The aroma is pure-play red capsicum; now
there’s a varietal hallmark if ever there was one. The palate is
medium-bodied with spicy, toasty French oak and coffee bean
aromas and flavours. Driving straight down the middle of the
palate is a tide of juicy blackcurrants and Christmas cherries.
This single vineyard is located a few kilometers from the famous
Penfold’s Kalimna Block 42, a wine of extremely high pedigree
and highly valued among wine collectors. The terroir of the Rare

quality of Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon, producing tremendous
wines which can cellar for up to 30 years with careful cellaring.

Our first time trying Atze's A-Label collection and it did not disappoint! Initially interested in the GSM, lesser the Shiraz and not so much the Cab Sauv but to our surprise the Cab Sauv was an absolute standout! Closely followed by the GSM and Shiraz. Bravo Atze!
After finding Atze's wine a couple of years ago, I decided that I had finally found the best quality and value reds on the market. Every now and then I still go and buy a bottle of red from a national retailer and every time I wonder why I wasted my time! This A Shiraz is another cracker wine from Andy and his team and you just won't drink better wine for the price!! Darren
