One of Andy's personal favourites and a wine with a pretty special family connection.
John and Barb planted this small Barossa vineyard back in 1975. More than 50 years later, those same low-yielding old vines are still producing beautiful Grenache and only around 50 cases are made.
The 2023 sits in a lovely spot. Not too heavy, not too light, with a silky texture and plenty of bright red fruit. Think strawberry, raspberry and cherry, with subtle floral notes and a long, balanced finish.
It's drinking beautifully now and is just as comfortable opened over dinner as it is on its own. There's only one real problem the first glass tends to disappear a little too easily.
