Atze’s Corner Wines  are excited to announce they have partnered with Eden Reforestation Projects to fund their reforestation and poverty alleviation efforts worldwide.

For every single bottle of Atze’s wine sold (domestically and internationally), a tree will be planted thanks to this initiative and collaboration between the Barossa Valley winery and the charity organisation.

“Over the years we’ve tested out our backs and hamstrings planting over 10,000 trees around our properties to help re vegetate the land. Now our customers can enjoy a bottle of wine knowing that they’ve helped make a tremendous difference on this amazing planet of ours” said Atze’s Corner Founder & Vigneron Andrew Kalleske. “With everything our family and team at Atze’s do, we are always aware of the environment around us and now our customers can be part of that ethos too!”.

Atze’s Corner have invested heavily in solar power on their Winery, Cellar Door and farm sheds plus sequester carbon on their farming land with minimal tillage to decrease their carbon footprint. They continue to invest in machinery and equipment which uses less fuel and power which not only helps keep their carbon emissions down but also helps the company’s bottom line.

“That’s our commitment to a sustainable future for this amazing planet and our new partnership with Eden Reforestation Projects. Not only planting trees but also helping communities survive and thrive in countries like Mozambique where most of the funding will go to” says Andrew.

Atze’s Corner Wines is a boutique winery located in the Barossa Valley, South Australia and while their production is only sold at independent retailers, restaurants and bars, they hope that the one tree planted for every single bottle sold initiative will compound to make a big difference in the years to come.

Currently the winery supports many local charities and sporting organisations including the local Nuriootpa Netball and cricket clubs, Africa Miracles, Novita River Run, Shitbox Rally and many more.

“We are ecstatic to be partnering with Atze’s Corner Wines. The work we have accomplished is due largely in part to our incredible donors who believe in alleviating poverty and restoring healthy forests. With Atze’s Corner Wines commitment to Eden Reforestation Projects, local community members are able to heal their ecosystems and take action against climate change.”
